It is necessary to have at least one employee created for the plugin to work properly. This option is specifically for companies with several employees to make it easier for them to manage and track their appointments, their availability, and the services they provide. If you have just one employee and you don\u2019t want it shown on the front pages, don\u2019t worry. When you create only one employee it will be automatically hidden on the front-end booking form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-974fb4d0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-975002f0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Managing a single Employee<br>Working with the Employees list and search page<br>Employee Time Zone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-nv-site-bg-color has-neve-link-hover-color-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-0160a6c0-bdac-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-84eb06b426a66b03903e59bf50023978\">When referring the <strong>&#8220;Wellness Unity Employee&#8221;<\/strong>  it refers to the creation of a user on the Booking plugin and not on WordPress (we are not referring that your employees work for us &#8230; lol)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-97505110-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\" id=\"managing-a-single-employee\">Managing a single Employee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97509f30-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Let\u2019s begin with creating the first employee. Go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEmployees\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;page on the back-end, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAdd Employee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button or the&nbsp;<strong>\u201c+\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button on the bottom right side of the page, and the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cNew Employee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;dialogue will appear. We will now go through the options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97511460-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9750c640-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Details<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 is the first tab for creating the employee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-9752c210-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/New-employee-detailes-amelia-booking.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity Employee Tabs\" style=\"width:801px;height:auto\" title=\"New-employee-detailes-amelia-booking\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97531030-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">It consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97538560-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-97533740-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Employee photo<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 for every employee you can set the photo that will be visible on both sides of the plugin \u2013 on the back-end so you or your manager can differentiate them easily, and on your website so your customers or clients can see them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9753d380-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/photo.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity - Adding Employee Photo\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Adding Employee Photo\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975448b0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9753fa90-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>First<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Name<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Last Name<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Email<\/strong>&nbsp;are mandatory fields for every employee. Note that you cannot have two employees with the same email \u2013 if you enter the same email a second time, and try to save the employee, you will see a red alert under the email option that informs you about an already existing email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-975496d0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/name.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity - Adding Employee's Data\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Adding Employee's Data\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975692a0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-97566b90-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Location<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This option isn\u2019t always visible:\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97561d70-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9754e4f0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">If you don\u2019t create a location the location option will not appear in any settings, and it will not be visible in this modal as well. Let\u2019s say your company is doing business in one location only, and you don\u2019t want to show that location because it is the only one. You can create it and then hide it, but that doesn\u2019t serve any purpose. So, you can simply skip creating the location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9755a840-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">If you create just one location every employee you create will get this location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9755f660-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">If your employees provide&nbsp;services&nbsp;at multiple locations, the Location option in the Employee modal becomes mandatory and you will have to choose a location for each employee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9756e0c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/location-1.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity - Adding Employee Location\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Adding Employee Location\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975755f0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-97572ee0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Phone number<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 It is optional, but you have the possibility to add your employee\u2019s cell phone number. In the notification settings, you can enable SMS notifications for employees, so if you want to use this feature, you should fill in this field. The phone number will not be visible anywhere on the front end of your website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9757a410-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Amelia-Booking-Employee-Phone--300x77.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Amelia Booking Employee Phone\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97581940-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9757cb20-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>WordPress User<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This allows you to give your employee an account that allows entrance to the back-end of the plugin. By adding this role, you give your employees an option to see their appointments on the Appointments page and Calendar and export the list of their appointments so they can track it any time. You can select an existing user (that you created on the Users page) or Create New by clicking on the button in this dropdown. If you click to create a new WordPress user, once you save the employee, a new Wellness Unity employee user with the email you entered above will be created. Then you can go to the Users page to change the password and other settings regarding this user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-97586760-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-e826b577d3fcf7fb764ca1beb4000a8a\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0To link the employee to an existing WordPress user, that user needs to have the \u201c<strong>Wellness Unity Employee<\/strong>\u201d user role. If you don\u2019t want to change the role of your user, you can use plugins like \u201cUser Role Editor\u201d, which allow you to add multiple user roles to a user. After you add the \u201cWellness Unity Employee\u201d user role, that user will appear in the\u00a0<strong>WordPress User<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu in Wellness Unity Employee\u2019s profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-nv-c-2-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-97588e70-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-1ba8d756fd95e99d75a7812714d420b2\"><strong>Important:<\/strong>\u00a0Do\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0add additional roles to your\u00a0<strong>Administrator<\/strong>\u00a0users and do not mix Wellness Unity\u2019s roles. Each role has its own set of capabilities and mixing them can cause issues with the plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-975903a0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_018-1.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity - Connecting Employee with WordPress user\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Connecting Employee with WordPress user\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975978d0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-975951c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Google Calendar\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 where your employees can connect their Google Calendars, so once the appointment is scheduled it will be automatically added to their calendar. All they need to do is to click on the button beside the Google Calendar option and they will be redirected to choose their Google Account. Once they choose it, they will be back on their profile in the Wellness Unity with the selected Google Calendar email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9759c6f0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Selection_999546.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Selection_999(546)\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-d984b620-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-3e78bfe98a025667a402996a0c7fe6d1\">Please note that after choosing the Google account your employee will be synced with, you may be presented with the \u201c<strong>This app isn\u2019t verified<\/strong>\u201d screen.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-975be9d0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Selection_999547-300x258.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Selection_999(547)\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975cfb40-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-975cd430-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">This is happening because the verification is not yet complete, and you simply need to click on \u201c<strong>Advanced<\/strong>\u201d and then on \u201c<strong>Go to\u00a0<em>your-website\u00a0<\/em>(unsafe)<\/strong>\u201c, and you will be redirected to the next screen where you need to allow Wellness Unity to access the calendar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-975d4960-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Selection_999545.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Selection_999(545)\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975e81e0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-975e33c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Once the Calendar is connected the Google button will change in color and offer an option to \u201c<strong>Sign out from Google<\/strong>\u201c<strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0so you\u2019ll know if the synchronization is working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-975ef710-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Selection_999548.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Selection_999(548)\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-976056a0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-975fe170-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Outlook Calendar<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Your employees can connect their Outlook Calendar in few clicks, once the appointment is scheduled in Wellness Unity it will be automatically added to their calendar. If they have busy slots in their calendar already, those time slots will not be available for booking in Wellness Unity. By clicking on the button beside the Outlook calendar option employee will be redirected to login into his\/her Microsoft account. After logging in successfully, will be redirected back to the employee\u2019s profile in the Wellness Unity and the Outlook calendar button will turn red which means that the calendar is connected successfully.\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-975f9350-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-975f4530-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">To configure Outlook Calendar settings, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wellnessunityhub.com\/documentation\/2024\/01\/28\/configuring-outlook-calendar-sync\/\">Configuring Outlook Calendar sync in Wellness Unity Hub<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9760cbd0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Outlook-calendar-sync-in-Amelia-Booking-1024x164.png\" alt=\"Employees can connect Office365\" title=\"Outlook calendar sync in Amelia Booking\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97618f20-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-97614100-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Zoom User \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Wellness Unity has native Zoom integration for virtual sessions, to use it, you need to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/configuring-zoom\/\">connect your zoom account<\/a>. Here you can select Zoom User, which will be listed after you connect your Zoom account. After selecting the Zoom user, once the appointment is scheduled, a zoom meeting will be automatically created and your customers and employee will get unique links to access the meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-97620450-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Connect-Zoom-User-and-Amelia-Employee--1024x163.png\" alt=\"Connect Zoom User and Employees\" style=\"width:396px;height:auto\" title=\"Connect Zoom User and Amelia Employee\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-976315c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9762c7a0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Employee Panel Password \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0If you want to use the Wellness Unity front-end employee panel to let your employees manage their bookings without access to WordPress Dashboard, straight from the front-end page of you your website, you can set a password for your employee here. After adding the password employee will receive an email to access the Wellness Unity front-end employee panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-976363e0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Front-end-Employee-Panel-Password.png\" alt=\"Add password form front-end employee panel \" style=\"width:781px;height:auto\" title=\"Front-end Employee Panel Password\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97640020-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9763b200-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Time Zone<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 If you have employees scattered across the globe, you can define the time zone for each employee. This allows the employee to configure his Work Hours in the&nbsp;<strong>Employee Panel&nbsp;<\/strong>in his own time zone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-97647550-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screenshot-from-2022-10-24-12-48-39.png\" alt=\"Employee-time-zone\" title=\"Employee-time-zone\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97651190-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9764c370-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Description\u00a0<\/strong>allows you to describe your employee to the customers so they can read more about their work experience, rewards, benefits, and so on. You can also translate this field in case you have a multi-lingual site.  Please note that the employee description will only be shown in the new Step-by-Step 2.0 booking form. It is not going to be displayed in old forms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-97655fb0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screenshot-from-2022-10-24-12-53-12.png\" alt=\"Employee-description\" title=\"Employee-description\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97662300-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9765d4e0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>The Note<\/strong>&nbsp;is an additional field that is not mandatory, but you can fill it out if you want additional information. This option will not be visible on the front-end of your website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-97669830-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Amelia-Booking-Employee-Note.png\" alt=\"Employee Note \" style=\"width:955px;height:auto\" title=\"Amelia Booking Employee Note\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97673470-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9766e650-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Assigned Services<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 This is where you can check the services provided by the current employee. Each employee can have more than one assigned service and there is no limit on the number of services that can be assigned, i.e. all services can be checked. Once you check one of the services, the price and capacity inputs become available, allowing you to set a custom price and capacity for the employee. There is an edit pencil icon next to the services for which the \u2018Custom duration and pricing\u2019 option is enabled, so you can set different prices for each duration per employee here. You can read more about this option by following&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/custom-service-duration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this link<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-9767a9a0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_008.png\" alt=\" Employee's assigned services\" style=\"width:441px;height:auto\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Employee's assigned services\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9767f7c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"24\" height=\"24\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/warning-icon.svg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-976845e0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Please note: If you assigned a custom price and capacity for the employees, please be careful when you are changing this setting in the service. If you change the price or capacity for that service you will see a message to choose whether you want to apply this setting only for the service or for all assigned employees. If you click to change it for all employees you will override your custom employees settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97690930-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9768bb10-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Work Hours<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This is where you set custom working hours and breaks for any employee if that employee has different working hours and breaks from those you\u2019ve set in the company global settings. You can choose different working hours and breaks for any day, but if you want to set the same schedule for the entire week, simply set it for Monday and click on the\u00a0<strong>\u201cApply to All Days\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0button, and the Monday schedule will be copied to the other days.<br>Click on the + button and new options will open, choose a time in the \u201cWork Hours\u201d option, choose services that the employee will offer in that period of time, and then choose a location. It is possible to set different locations for different periods in a day or days in a week. In the employee\u2019s details you can still set a one default location, so if your employee works on only one location just set it in the\u00a0<strong>\u201cDetails\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0tab and you don\u2019t have to set it in the work hours for each period since the default location will be automatically added to all periods. However, if you have multiple locations for one employee you will be able to choose one location for each time period that you create here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-976b2c10-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-b0c9b9efdaca26eaf51a6a402af78620\">Please note: After you set these options you can experience two issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-976c1670-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">To see a different availability on the front-end that doesn\u2019t match your settings \u2013 If you experience this please check whether you have set your Timezone in the\u00a0WordPress General Settings\u00a0and whether you have enabled Show booking slots in a client time zone in\u00a0General Settings. Click on the Add Day Off button and you\u2019ll see several new options. Enter a name, a date, or a range of dates, and check if you want this day off to repeat yearly. After you click Add Day Off, your Day Off will be saved, and depending on whether it is a repeating one or a one-time day off it will be colored in orange or red on the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-97703520-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_010.png\" alt=\"Employee's days off\" style=\"width:292px;height:auto\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Employee's days off\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-97711f80-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-9770aa50-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>Special Days&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 This feature allows you to set one or multiple days in which your employee will have different working hours and\/or provide different services.&nbsp;Whether you need to set shorter or longer working hours for just one day or a period, or set a different service for one specific day or a whole week, here you can do all of this. Once you set it, it will override the employee\u2019s general working hours and service schedule but it will not override the days off. Click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAdd Special Day\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button and new options will appear. In the&nbsp;<strong>Date<\/strong>&nbsp;option choose a date or a range of dates, then set one or multiple periods of time with working hours and choose one or multiple services for each of them in the&nbsp;<strong>Service<\/strong>&nbsp;option, and select a specific location in the&nbsp;<strong>Location<\/strong>&nbsp;option. After you configure the special schedule, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSave Special Day\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button and this schedule will be applied.<br>If you have services that are only provided from time to time (not on a daily or a weekly basis), this feature is for you. You can simply delete the working hours and just use the special days, and the calendar on the front-end will show the first available appointment slot. This is useful especially for services that happen from time to time. The customers won\u2019t need to search for a date. Instead, the month with the available date will be shown right away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-977194b0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Screen-Shot-2019-08-16-at-18.50.59.png\" alt=\"Special Days \" style=\"width:403px;height:auto\" title=\"Special Days Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-977230f0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-878b91c8ee7c51a8d5eccf97d0e87bf8\">Please note: employees can also edit their information, schedule, days off and special days. For each of this action, you have an option in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/roles-settings\/\">Roles Settings<\/a>\u00a0so you can choose what they will be able to do. Of course, before that, you need to add\u00a0Wellness Unity Employee\u00a0user role to each of them so they can log in and access their profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9772a620-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Once you\u2019ve set it all, click on the \u201cSave\u201d button and your employee will appear on the \u201cEmployees\u201d page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-9772f440-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\" id=\"working-with-employees-list\">Working with the Employees list and search page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97736970-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">You can have one or as many employees as you need, and you can choose how to show them on the back-end of the plugin, and easily search or sort them. This is especially important for companies with a large number of employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9773dea0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">On the \u201cEmployees\u201d page you have several search options: by name, by service, by location, and two options to sort them by name: ascending and descending. In the list view, you have an additional option \u2013 to mark and delete several employees at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-9777d640-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Duplicate, Hide and Delete option<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97784b70-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Click on the employee and the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEdit Employee\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>dialog will appear with three new buttons in the bottom left corner:&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDuplicate\u201d<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>\u201cHide\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDelete\u201d<\/strong>. While the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDuplicate\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>\u201cHide\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;options are available for both, administrator and manager, the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDelete\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option is only available for the administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97789990-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><strong>The \u201cDuplicate\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option is the first of three and helps you configure the settings. If you have several employees with the same location, assigned services, working hours, and breaks, you can easily duplicate the first one you\u2019ve created, and just change the name, email, and a few others if you need. In that way, you can create a list of your employees much faster. After you click to duplicate the employee and confirm this action, the copied version will open. The only difference is that this copied version will not enter email, as you cannot have two or more employees or customers with the same email address.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-97795ce0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_012.png\" alt=\"Duplicate employee\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Duplicate employee\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9779f920-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">With the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cHide\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option, you can temporarily hide an employee from the website front-end, without needed to permanently delete him\/her. You will find this option right next to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDuplicate\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button in the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEdit Employee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;dialog. When you hide an employee it will still be visible on the back-end of the plugin with a hidden sign, but it will not be visible on your front website.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-977a6e50-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_014.png\" alt=\"Hide employee\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Hide employee\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-977b58b0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-adf38020781831636ddc5b7d129d131d\">Please note: If you hide an employee which was the only one assigned to the service and\/or location, the service and\/or location will automatically be hidden as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-977bcde0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">While&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDuplicate\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>\u201cHide\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;options are available for managers and administrators, the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDelete\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option is available only to the administrator. You can use a&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDelete\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option when you want to permanently delete an employee. You have two options to do so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-977c9130-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-977c1c00-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">By clicking on a&nbsp;<strong>\u201cTrash\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;icon button in the bottom left corner of the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEdit Employee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-977d2d70-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_015.png\" alt=\"Delete employee\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Delete employee\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-977e3ee0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-977dc9b0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">By selecting it on the employee\u2019s list and then clicking on a&nbsp;<strong>\u201cTrash\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;icon in the bottom left corner of the Employees page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-977eb410-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_016.png\" alt=\"Delete multiple employees\" style=\"width:895px;height:auto\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Delete multiple employees\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-977f2940-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Either way, you can delete employees without any appointments or with only appointments in the past, but you cannot delete employees that have appointments in the future. Once you click on a delete button you will see a message that will inform you of the number of appointments and the ability to delete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-977f9e70-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-e2cadbb5981aa994247558eac866f8d4\">Please note: If you delete an employee that has had appointments in the past, those appointments will be deleted as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-9780afe0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\" id=\"working-with-employees-list\">Employee Time Zone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97812510-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">The time zone set in your WordPress general settings applies to Wellness Unity as well, but the employees can be set in a different time zone than the one set here. If this is the case, they will have their schedules set in their own time zones and they will\u00a0receive notifications for appointments and events accordingly. This option is available both on the back-end in the employee profile on the Employees page, where the admin can choose the time zone for the employee and on the employee panel where employees can set it up for themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9781c150-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">By including employees\u2019 time zones, Wellness Unity unlocked a new possibility:\u00a0<strong>being able to book past midnight!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97825d90-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">In the past, your employees could only provide appointments within a business day, and no appointment could go past midnight into another day. From Wellness Unity 4.6 onward, you\u2019re able to configure your employee\u2019s work hours from 22:00 \u2013 24:00 (on Monday, for example), and from 00:00 \u2013 02:00 (on Tuesday), and then create a 4-hour long Service. Your customers would then be able to book an appointment from 10 PM on Monday, until 02 AM on a Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9782d2c0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">Employees will find this option when they login to the panel and go to the My Profile section.&nbsp;When the profile sections open, you need to select the time zone you are in and save the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-9783e430-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-19-at-12.33.54-PM.png\" alt=\"Employees will find this option when they login to the panel and go to the My Profile section.\" title=\"Screen Shot 2022-04-19 at 12.33.54 PM\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97845960-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">And that\u2019s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-9784ce90-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-03e0472ce8cb93679f6dcfce17083778\">* Please note that you need to click on your mail address in the panel and select the profile option and change the time zone there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-97856ad0-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">The time zone option you see in the picture below only serves as a temporary filter that can show you when your appointments will be in different time zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-9785e000-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\">This option is useful if you travel often, but if you do not change and save the time zone on your profile, all appointments will be displayed according to the time zone that is set in WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-97887810-bda9-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-19-at-12.43.08-PM.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:1025px;height:auto\" title=\"Screen Shot 2022-04-19 at 12.43.08 PM\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-nv-site-bg-color has-neve-link-hover-color-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color gutenify-section-d86a5a90-bdab-11ee-b875-9725fcfae3df wp-elements-b62fb5f6d7340f53d47ddc60512818aa\">When referring the <strong>&#8220;Wellness Unity Employee&#8221;<\/strong>  it refers to the creation of a user on the Booking plugin and not on WordPress (we are not referring that your employees work for us &#8230; lol)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Employees in the Wellness Unity are those who perform a service.
