{"id":1594,"date":"2024-02-12T10:25:08","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T08:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wellnessunityhub.com\/?p=1594"},"modified":"2024-02-12T10:25:08","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T08:25:08","slug":"import-your-existing-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wellnessunityhub.com\/documentation\/2024\/02\/12\/import-your-existing-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"Import your existing clients"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You will find the Import customers option on the Unity Bookings Customers page in the upright corner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Valid&nbsp;<strong>First<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Last name<\/strong>&nbsp;are required fields.<br>If invalid, other values will be skipped and not imported.<br>If multiple customers have the same email address, only the first one will be imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a list of customers that you want to import to Unity Bookings, or you need to add customers when you already have ones in Unity Bookings, you can easily do that using the Import customers option. To use this option, you will need to have a CSV file with your customers\u2019 information and follow the rules mentioned below and outlined in Unity Bookings when you are uploading the file.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Import rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No first row with column names<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Last name<\/strong>&nbsp;are two separate fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Date of birth<\/strong>&nbsp;in the same format as chosen in your WP settings (if date format with a comma is used the dates should be in quotes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phone<\/strong>&nbsp;has a country code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gender<\/strong>&nbsp;in Male or Female form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By clicking on the button, the modal will open:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-2.10.02-PM-1.png\" alt=\"Import clients into Unity bookings\" style=\"width:345px;height:auto\" title=\"Screen Shot 2022-04-18 at 2.10.02 PM\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>You will immediately see the option to upload a .csv file, and you can either&nbsp;drag and drop the file that you need to the form or choose from files by clicking on the option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, below the option, you will find the&nbsp;<strong>Import rules<\/strong>&nbsp;that you need to follow regarding customers\u2019 information in the .csv file in order for those customers to be imported successfully to Unity Bookings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If some of the customers\u2019 data formats are incorrect, those customers won\u2019t be imported. Only the customers with proper data formats will be imported. In the last step, you will be able to download a .csv file containing the customers that weren\u2019t imported for various reasons (duplicate email, wrong format, etc.).
