Since different user roles have different capabilities, we will go through each of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-neve-link-hover-color-background-color has-background gutenify-section-f1f4f830-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">YOUR UNITY HUB BOOKINGS WILL BE SET-UP WITH THESE ROLES, THIS INFORMATION IS TO ASSIST YOU TO BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW THE SETUP FUNCTIONS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-2e5b76a0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\"><strong>Contact your Unity Hub Administrator for any changes to roles.  The support for changes are included in your monthly subscription.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-8e013370-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\"><strong>Content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-8e018190-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Administrator<br>Manager<br>Employee<br>Customer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-8e01f6c0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\" id=\"administrator\">Administrator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-8e035650-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">WordPress Administrator is the user who has all the plugin\u2019s permissions. An administrator can create services, locations, customers, employees, and appointments, and permanently delete or hide all entries. He can also customize the look of the front-end of the plugin, so it matches the website of the company. As an admin, one can also make changes in all WordPress settings and change the roles for the other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-b2ed6910-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\" id=\"amelia-manager\">Manager<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2edb730-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">The \u201cManager\u201d role has almost the same permissions as an \u201cAdministrator\u201d role, but with a few important differences. A manager is allowed to hide but not delete anything; a manager cannot customize the front-end look of the plugin and doesn\u2019t have access to the WordPress settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2ee2c60-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">You can add an \u201cWellness Unity Manager\u201d user by going to\u00a0<strong>Users \u00bb Add New<\/strong>, fill in the necessary data, and choose the \u201cWellness Unity Manager\u201d role under the \u201cRole\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-b2ee5370-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\" id=\"amelia-employee\">Employee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2ef8bf0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">\u201cEmployee\u201d is the role you can give to some or all of your employees. Once you create a new Employee user an automatic email will be sent to your employee with a username and a URL link where they can set their&nbsp;password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2f00120-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Employees can use&nbsp;Front-end Panel for Employees, where they can manage their appointments and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2f04f40-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">With this role, your employees can access the list of their appointments on the appointments page or directly on the calendar at the back-end, as well as in the Employee Panel, and they can also export the list for ease in tracking. If you want to give more permissions to your employees you can enable six more options which you can find in the plugin\u2019s Roles Settings on the Settings Page so your employees can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"gutenify-section-b2f2c040-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f0c470-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Configure their services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f11290-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Configure their schedule,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f160b0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Configure their days off,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f1aed0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Configure their special days and\/or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f22400-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Manage their appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f27220-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Manage their events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2f30e60-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Once you enable these options your employees will be able to also add or edit their appointments\/events (change status, reschedule, etc.), choose services that will be assigned to them, edit their personal information, working hours, days off, and special days. They will not, however, be able to see other pages on the back-end side or see the appointments from the other employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2f35c80-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">You have two options to assign this role to your employee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"gutenify-section-b2f446e0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f3aaa0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEmployee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;modal, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWordPress User\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option, and click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCreate New\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-b2f3f8c0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">From the WordPress Menu, go to&nbsp;<strong>Users<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;<strong>Add new<\/strong>&nbsp;and create a WordPress user with an&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEmployee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;role. After you create a WordPress user, go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEmployee\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;modal and under the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWordPress User\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option select a WordPress user you\u2019ve previously created.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-b2f690d0-bc6b-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">If you want to change an employee\u2019s role to Manager, you can do so on the \u201cUsers\u201d page of the WordPress admin panel. Just find the employee you wish to change, click \u201cEdit\u201d, and under the \u201cRole\u201d option choose the \u201cManager\u201d role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer gutenify-section-5917b5c0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-text-color has-link-color gutenify-section-5f242c00-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff wp-elements-42e8cbcf52b895b6335dabc7166478a5\" style=\"border-radius:2em;min-height:163px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-cover-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-2a24d1d0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong>&nbsp;At the moment employee doesn\u2019t have permission to add new customers on the back-end. He can only create appointments with the existing customers (the ones that have profiles created in Unity Hub).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer gutenify-section-78eb9920-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-7c86c140-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\" id=\"amelia-customer\">Customer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-7c878490-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">The \u201cCustomer\u201d role enables your customers to see their appointments in the backend calendar, and on the appointments list, and also enables them to&nbsp;<strong>cancel<\/strong>&nbsp;their appointments on the appointments list. They can also&nbsp;<strong>reschedule<\/strong>&nbsp;their appointments by drag and drop or the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEdit\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option on their Calendar. Please be aware that this is possible only for single appointments. To give them this permission you need to enable the option&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAllow customers to reschedule their own appointments\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cRoles Settings\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-7c8820d0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">There is also a&nbsp;Front-end Panel for Customers, and by using it your customers can manage their appointments and events from the front-end page of your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-7c88bd10-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Once you create a new Customer an automatic email will be sent to your customer with a username and a URL link where they can set their password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-7c895950-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">If you want to add this role to one or more customers you can do it in the same way you would for the employees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"gutenify-section-7c8f4cc0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-7c8b0700-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">Go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomer\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;modal, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWordPress User\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option, and click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCreate New\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-7c8bf160-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">From the WordPress Menu, go to&nbsp;<strong>Users<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;<strong>Add new<\/strong>&nbsp;and create a WordPress user with the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomer\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;role. After you create a WordPress user, go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomer\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;modal and under the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWordPress User\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;option select the WordPress user you\u2019ve previously created.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-7c8cdbc0-bc6c-11ee-8a98-3788a43e92ff\">You can also enable the automatic creation of the \u201cCustomer\u201d user. To do this, go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cRoles Settings\u201d<\/strong>, on the Customer tab and you will see an option<strong>&nbsp;\u201cAutomatically create Customer user\u201d<\/strong>. Enable this option and from that point each time when a new customer schedules the appointment he will automatically get the customer user role and an email with the username, URL link for setting the password, and a link to your booking form. If someone is already a WordPress user, and they book an appointment for the first time in Unity Hub bookings while logged in to WP, the customer created in Unity Hub will be connected to that WP user and the WP user will get the Unity Hub Customer role too (there are plugins for managing multiple roles in WP, such as User role editor).
