Every time you add a new customer at the back-end of the plugin, or when a new customer books an appointment through your website, they will automatically be added to this list (whether they have a WordPress user account or not).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-e35ec3c0-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\" id=\"managing-a-single-customer\">Managing a single Customer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-e35f11e0-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">To create your first customer, go to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomers\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;page, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAdd Customer\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button or the&nbsp;<strong>\u201c+\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button on the bottom left side of the page and the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cNew Customer\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;modal will appear. When you are creating a customer, you must enter the customer\u2019s first name, last name, and email. Other options such as \u201cWordPress user\u201d, \u201cPhone\u201d, \u201cGender\u201d, \u201cDate of Birth\u201d, and \u201cNote (Internal)\u201d are optional and easy to set so we will just go through those of greatest importance.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-e35ffc40-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/name-1.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity Hub - Adding Customer's Data\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Adding Customer's Data\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-e3604a60-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><strong>WordPress User\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 You can use this option when you want to create a connected WordPress user account with an \u201cWellness Unity Customer\u201d role.\u00a0You have two options: you can click on the\u00a0<strong>\u201cCreate New\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0button and add a new \u201cCustomer\u201d user or you can select it from the existing ones. After you add a WordPress user role to your customer, he or she will be able to see appointments in the Calendar and on the Appointments page in the back-end panel and cancel appointments with just one click on the\u00a0<strong>\u201cCancel\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0button beside each appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-e360bf90-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_018.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity Hub - Connecting Customer with WordPress user\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Connecting Customer with WordPress user\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-e3610db0-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><strong>Date of birth<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 This option is important when you want to use a&nbsp;<strong>\u201cBirthday Greeting\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;notification for your customers. You\u2019ll find more about this and other notifications&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wellnessunityhub.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/26\/email-notifications\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter gutenify-section-e3615bd0-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Selection_017-1.png\" alt=\"Wellness Unity Hub - Adding Customer's birthday\" title=\"Amelia WordPress - Adding Customer's birthday\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-e361a9f0-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">After you have entered the desired data, click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSave\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button and your customer will appear in the customer&nbsp;list, although without the date of the last appointment, as you have just created it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-e362e270-bc78-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">When you need to edit customer details simply click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEdit\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button located beside every customer on the customers\u2019 list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:14px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer gutenify-section-23d57340-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover gutenify-section-20aae740-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\" style=\"border-radius:1em;min-height:85px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-cover-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-neve-link-color-color has-text-color has-link-color gutenify-section-2a98dd70-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9 wp-elements-4fe3ca16f200824389e2cc3d0b082943\">Please note: If you edit a customer, your changes will apply to all appointments in the database.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer gutenify-section-3cfad400-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-4e1fddc0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\" id=\"working-with-customers-list-and-search-page\">Working with Customers list and search page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e20a110-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">The customer&nbsp;list shows all the information about every customer: names, their WordPress usernames (if there is a connected WordPress user), phone, note, and perhaps the most important one \u2013 the date of their last appointment. To specify the number of records that are to be displayed at a time, select the required number in the&nbsp;\u201cDefault items per page\u201d&nbsp;in&nbsp;&nbsp;\u201cGeneral Settings\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e213d50-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">Just as on the other pages, on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomers\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;page you will see:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"gutenify-section-4e23fc70-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9 wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e21d990-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">The total number of customers you have<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e22c3f0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">A search input you can use to search through your customers by their name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e236030-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">A sort option you can use to sort your customers by ascending or descending name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e2498b0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">You can export a list of your customers in a form of a CSV file. At the top right of the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCustomers\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;page and next to the sort option, tap the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cExport\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;icon button. Clicking on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cExport\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;icon button will open a dialog allowing you to choose the delimiter used for CSV and to select the columns you\u2019d like to export. When you are ready, tap on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cExport\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button in the dialog to download a CSV file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e2534f0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">You can also delete multiple customer profiles at the same time on the page by checking the ones that you want to delete. The dialog box with the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cTrash\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;icon will appear in the table footer when you check at least one customer you want to delete. After you click on it you will see a message, and if you are certain that you want to delete the customer records click on the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDelete\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;button to confirm your deleting process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading gutenify-section-4e25f840-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\" id=\"working-with-customers-list-and-search-page\">Unity Hub Customer WordPress user<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e266d70-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">Like we explained on the&nbsp;<strong>Users and Roles<\/strong>&nbsp;page in our documentation, each customer can have an&nbsp;<strong>Unity Hub Customer WordPress user role<\/strong>. With this role, customers can log in to the back-end of the Unity Hub bookings and see only their appointments on the Appointments page and Calendar page. The customer has two options there:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"gutenify-section-4e284230-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9 wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e26e2a0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><strong>Cancel<\/strong>&nbsp;the appointment on the Appointments page, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e27a5f0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><strong>Reschedule<\/strong>&nbsp;the appointment on the Calendar page,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e28de70-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><strong>The Cancel<\/strong>&nbsp;option is enabled for all customers with Unity Hub customer user role by default, and it cannot be disabled. Next to each future appointment, the customer will see the Cancel option like in the picture below. Once they click on Cancel, the appointment will be canceled and both, the customer and the employee will receive notification about it (if this notification is previously set for sending).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-4e2ab330-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Screen-Shot-2019-05-06-at-15.23.12.png\" alt=\"Customers Cancel option Wellness unity hub bookings\" style=\"width:974px;height:auto\" title=\"Customers Cancel option Amelia WordPress booking plugin\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-4e2b7680-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">Reschedule option is not enabled by default and if you want to allow your customers to reschedule their appointments, first you need to go to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/roles-settings\/\"><strong>Roles Settings<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and enable the option&nbsp;<strong>\u201cAllow customers to reschedule their own appointments\u201d<\/strong>. After you do this your customers will be able to reschedule their appointment on their Calendar page in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"gutenify-section-4e2d9960-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9 wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e2c12c0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">By&nbsp;<strong>drag and drop<\/strong>&nbsp;the appointment to a new date and\/or time \u2013 once the customer begins with dragging the appointment they will automatically see which time slots are unavailable for the specific service and employee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gutenify-section-4e2cfd20-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\">By clicking&nbsp;<strong>Edit<\/strong>&nbsp;on the appointment in the Calendar \u2013 once the customer clicks to edit, the Appointment modal will open and the customer will be able to set a new date and\/or time for the appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized gutenify-section-4e305880-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpamelia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Screen-Shot-2019-05-06-at-15.29.38.png\" alt=\"Customer Reschedule Option Wellness Unity Hub bookings\" style=\"width:775px;height:auto\" title=\"Customer Reschedule Option Amelia WordPress Booking plugin\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer gutenify-section-a3804020-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover gutenify-section-ea6bc4a0-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9\" style=\"border-radius:2em;min-height:181px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-nv-light-bg-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-cover-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size gutenify-section-ef4c3e00-bc79-11ee-bc32-bd26b4454fd9 wp-elements-aeff8cdb00a8fadb95397d1c3ac7a106\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Customer cannot reschedule the <strong>group appointment<\/strong> because of the other customers in it, he can only reschedule the <strong>single ones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Content Managing a single CustomerWorking with Customers list and search pageWellness Unity Customer WordPress user The Customers page in the Unity Hub back-end enables you to easily track customers if you are logged in with an \u201cAdministrator\u201d or an \u201cManager\u201d user role.
