Here we go – another opportunity for you to join us in Bahia, one of the most interesting and beautiful parts of Brazil.

The tour consists of the fabulous things we always do – a bit of cultural immersion in the historic city of Salvador, some relaxation and exploration on the island of Boipeba where I lived for 11 years, and some experiences in another coastal town for our final few days – plus a couple of new adventures.

We do things you won’t do on other tours because our groups are small and we know the places we’re going, intimately.

What you can expect:

Our B&B in Salvador is just off a sweet beach where you will be able to taste cheese & guava jam grilled on a stick, sweet coconuts, fresh seafood, açaí, & acarajé – a traditional Afro-Brazilian food – not to mention swim in the beautiful calm and clear water.
We will explore the historic downtown area with its colorful buildings, shops, churches, and cafés, where some women are dressed in traditional clothes and others play capoeira.
We will see a show depicting the rich Afro-Brazilian culture through dance & music.
After traveling to the island of Boipeba, we will have many beach and swim experiences, dance and yoga classes, village nightlife.
In Itacaré, our final destination, we will experience beaches of a completely different nature…….take some easy hikes, optional massage, SUP, dance classes. This village has a lively nightlife and it’s fun to walk around tasting and experiencing.
We will visit a cacao farm while in the area.
